PRODUCT VERIFICATION
Check what matters for your application.
Our supplied factory materials show chemical composition analysis, hardness measurement, sample preparation and mechanical testing equipment.
Inspection requirements should be agreed before production so your purchasing and technical teams know what will be checked and recorded.
Discuss these checks with us.
- Chemical composition and specified material grade.
- Product dimensions and drawing tolerances.
- Surface and core hardness where required by the specification.
- Impact testing and sampling requirements where applicable.
- Appearance, packing and quantity checks before dispatch.
Ask for the relevant inspection documentation for your order. Test results, sampling methods and acceptance criteria should be evaluated together.
Packing for the journey.
Drum and bag packing options are available. Packing method, pallet requirements and shipment quantity are agreed according to the product and destination.
Agree the inspection plan
An order should identify chemistry limits, the location and method of hardness measurement, dimensions and tolerances, and any impact testing requirements. Sampling frequency and acceptance criteria should be agreed before manufacturing, so that the supplier and buyer compare results on the same basis.
