Our catalogue includes high manganese steel, high chromium cast iron and bimetallic crusher hammer options. Material selection depends on the crusher design and working conditions.
Limestone and other crushing applications
Send the feed material, size, equipment model and current hammer specification. Explain the observed wear pattern or failure mode where available.
Drawing and material review
Provide the hammer drawing, installation dimensions and required quantity. Material and hardness requirements must be confirmed for the selected construction.
Service conditions matter
Service life varies with feed and operation. We do not apply a catalogue service-life example as a universal guarantee.
Material and construction choices
The catalogue lists high manganese grades Mn13Cr3 and Mn17Cr3, high chromium cast iron and composite hammer designs. These are alternative constructions; a single hardness or service-life value should not be applied to all of them.
Dimensions that matter
Send overall dimensions, mounting-hole diameter, pin or shaft details, working-head geometry and unit weight where known. Identify the crusher make and model and provide the drawing revision used for replacement parts.
Describe the failure, not just the material
Tell us whether the existing hammer wears gradually, chips at the edge, cracks or breaks around its mounting area. Include feed material, maximum lump size and photographs of used hammers. This information helps frame the material review.
Confirm the supply scope
State the number of pieces or complete sets, material specification, dimensional inspection requirements and shipment destination. Any matching or weight requirements for a set should be written into the order.
