Define the rod mill requirement
Provide the rod mill model and working length, existing rod diameter and length, operating conditions and addition schedule. The rod specification should be checked against the equipment before an order is placed.
Specify more than diameter
A rod inquiry should include length, diameter tolerance, straightness requirement and the material or hardness specification currently used. Tell us whether bending, uneven wear or breakage is the problem being addressed.
Inspection and delivery
Agree the dimensional checks and hardness test method before production. Confirm the weight or quantity of rods, bundle arrangement, handling limits and destination. Exact numeric tolerances and material grades are confirmed with the quotation.
