Application & selection
Grinding Master® supplies drawing-based ball mill liners, with shell, end and compartment or grate-related parts reviewed for the particular mill. Liner material, profile and installation dimensions should be considered together with the grinding process.
Drawing-based requirements
Provide the mill model and liner drawings, including bolt positions and installation dimensions. For replacement parts, provide photographs and details of the existing material.
Application review
Share the feed material, grinding media and operating conditions. Our team will discuss available materials and production specifications with you.
Confirm before production
Confirm the final drawings, material grade, inspection requirements and quantity before production.
Profiles and positions
The catalogue includes grooved liner designs and material options for shell liners, end liners, and compartment or grate components. Identify the position of the component in the mill: similar-looking parts may have different installation and operating requirements.
Drawing review checklist
Provide the overall length, width and thickness, liner profile, bolt-hole diameter and spacing, sealing surfaces and any installation clearances. Include the drawing revision and quantity for each part number. Photographs help identify parts but do not replace dimensioned drawings.
Select materials for the operating load
Specify the feed material, mill speed, grinding media size and whether operation is dry or wet. Provide photographs of worn liners and the locations of cracks or uneven wear. Material and profile should be considered together.
Before manufacture
Confirm the approved drawing revision, material, critical dimensions, inspection requirements and packing format. For a complete replacement set, identify component quantities by installation position.
Prepare a ball mill liner RFQ
For each part number, send a drawing revision and quantity together with the following:
- Equipment and position: mill model, shell/end/compartment location and an installation arrangement identifying the part.
- Dimensions: overall length, width and thickness, profile, bolt-hole diameter and centres, and critical mating or sealing surfaces.
- Operating duty: feed material, wet/dry operation, mill speed and grinding media sizes.
- Replacement evidence: photographs of the worn part and the location and type of wear or cracking.
- Acceptance and shipment: material grade, critical checks, required documents, quantities by position and packing requirements.
Use our quotation preparation checklist to organise the purchase information. The final liner drawing and inspection requirements must be confirmed for the order. Send your mill liner drawings and requirements.
