Grinding Master® manufactures cast grinding cylpebs in Ningguo, China. These cylindrical grinding media are ordered by diameter × length, with the grade selected for the actual mill and feed. For example, 20 × 25 mm identifies a 20 mm diameter and 25 mm length; confirm tolerances and the quantity of each size.
Material families
The catalogue groups cast grinding media into low-, medium- and high-chromium families, with additional special material options. Select the specific grade against agreed chemical composition and hardness requirements; the family name alone does not define a complete purchase specification.
Mill information for selection
Provide the material to be ground, mill dimensions, chamber configuration and required fineness. When replacing existing media, provide its size distribution and operating performance. Changes in media shape and composition should be assessed against the actual process.
Ordering and inspection
Confirm diameter × length, material grade, sampling method and packing format. For smaller sizes, review micro grinding balls and cylpebs. Prepare the inspection requirements with our grinding media quality checklist.
