High chromium micro-ball sizes
The catalogue lists diameters of 8, 10, 12.7, 15, 17 and 20 mm. These are ball diameters, not cylpeb lengths. Confirm the required size mix and material specification for the order.
Two shapes, separate dimensions
For micro balls, state the required diameter. For micro cylpebs, state diameter × length. The quotation should list each shape and size separately, including the quantity and tolerance required.
Describe the grinding duty
Provide the mill type, material, wet or dry process, feed size and target fineness. For a replacement order, include the media specification currently used and any concerns about wear, breakage or the finished product.
Material and inspection
Confirm the material grade, composition limits, hardness method and size-distribution requirements for the selected product. Small media should not inherit the specifications of a larger ball simply because it belongs to the same material family.
