Application & selection
High chromium grinding balls are part of our cast grinding media range. The material specification should be selected according to feed characteristics, mill configuration and operating conditions.
Diameter and grade selection
Tell us your required ball diameter, current grade and grinding conditions. The catalogue contains multiple ball and micro-ball sizes; availability and final requirements are confirmed in the quotation.
Mining and cement applications
For mineral processing, share the ore and mill details. For cement grinding, include the mill configuration, feed and fineness requirements.
Before ordering
Confirm the material grade, ball size, inspection criteria, quantity and packing method with our team. Chemical ranges describe the catalogue series and are not a substitute for an order-specific grade specification.
How the product is made
The casting route includes raw-material analysis, melting, a chemistry check before casting, moulding, separation and surface finishing. Heat treatment is followed by inspection before packing.
Specify the full ball charge
For a repeat order, provide the diameter and tonnage of each size rather than only a total shipment weight. For a new selection, include mill diameter and length, wet or dry operation, feed size and the required product fineness.
Compare test results on the same basis
Agree where hardness is measured: surface, core, or a section through the ball. Chemistry, hardness and impact testing answer different questions and should be specified separately. Discuss sampling and acceptance criteria before production.
Packing and receiving
The catalogue lists iron drums and bulk bags. Confirm net weight per package, pallet requirements, shipment marks and unloading arrangements in the order. The packing photographs show available formats, not a fixed packing requirement for every shipment.
